I’m here, I’m alive and I’m loving it SOOO much!!!
Oh man it’s only been like a week and I feel like I’ve been doing this for so much longer. I LOVE IT!!! We're all talking about how sad we're all going to be when we have to leave the MTC!! Ha- ha!! First off Thanks for all the emails! I’ll do my best to respond but MAN, this email time is STRESSFUL!
Okay so my district is MUTO BEM!!!! It’s actually two districts, but because they are short staffed we were all put together!!!! So there are 18 of us!!!!!! We were all SUPER comfortable with each other by the 2nd day and I feel like I’ve known them all FOREVER!!! There are four sisters going to Brazil, three sisters going to Portugal and then 11 Brazil elders! They’re all so great and we love each other SO MUCH (in a missionary appropriate way) :)

The first day we were here we went into our class room and met our teacher Irmao Gray who ONLY SPEAKS TO US IN PORTUGUESE!!! WHATTT!?!? I know so crazy, but I think we were all surprised as to how much we could actually figure out!!! He’s the best teacher ever we all love him so much! He was late to class yesterday and we were all so worried for him! Ha-ha he’s like our mission big brother! <3
Okay so an average day goes something like this:
6:30 wake up and get ready
7:00 Study time with our district
7:45 Breakfast
Then 4 hrs. of language class with Irmao Gray
Lunch
3 hrs. of investigator teaching
1 hr. gym time
Dinner
Then 3 hrs. personal, companion or language study
Then back to our rooms at 9:30 and lights out at 10!
So pretty exciting right!
Ha-ha yeah one day seems like three but it’s fun and were all loving what were doing so Tudo bem!
Oh yeah my address is:
DEC 08 Bra-Man
2013 N 900 E Unit 352
Provo, UT 84602
(SEND ME DEAR ELDERS!!!!<3)
The food here is pretty good! Ha-ha we had chicken cordon bleu Sunday and it made me think of you Dean!!! I always run into Sister Kennedy and Elder Calhoun at eating times! Ha-ha I literally see Sister Kennedy 20 times a day! I LOVE IT!!!!

Umm so yeah we got here Wednesday and Irmao Gray told us that we would be teaching our first lesson to our investigator on Thursday! IN PORTUGUESE!!! What!?! We don’t know Portuguese!!!!! So that first lesson with our investigator Carol, was really really rough and we we're really discouraged! The next lesson we prayed more and more and found ways to invite the spirit into our lessons and the second lesson went A TON BETTER!!! It’s still hard because it’s all in Portuguese and because when we are asking her questions we don’t know what she’s saying when she answers but we do our best! Tomorrow we will be teaching our 5th lesson! Woo!
Okay so my companion!!! SISTER BELLUOMINI!!!!!!! I LOVE HER SO SO MUCH!! She was my neighbor up at BYUI so how crazy is that!?!?! But yeah it’s no coincidence that we are companions! WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE TOGETHER~!!!!! She’s from Fairfield California! In our residence hall in our room we have two other sisters, Sister Pace from SLC and Sister Anderson from Pleasant grove! Sister Anderson is like Jane Sorena's Twin! Ha-ha I LOVE IT!! It’s like having a little Jane with me all the time! It’s THE BEST!!! Ha-ha

So yeah Portuguese IS SO SO HARD!!!! But I love it! It will come we just have to be patient!!!! And hey, we’ve only been here a week! I have to remember that!!!!
SO we had a devotional Sunday from Sister Nelson (Elder Nelson of the 12 apostle's wife) she was wonderful! She taught that obedience brings blessings but exact obedience brings miracles! So that’s pretty cool! I definitely need miracles while I’m here and with learning Portuguese! So we're trying our best to be exactly obedient so we can qualify for those miracles! That’s a pretty cool thing! :) Oh also we went to a devotional today at BYU and I saw Spenser Miller! SUPES COOL! I love seeing people I know! :)
ALSO shout out to the coolest kid Ryan Quiggle for getting baptized Saturday! Thought about you all day long! Also way to go on your BOMB.COM talk!! I heard you gave that night! You are amazing and an inspiration to all!! I LOVE YOU!!
Also we get to go to the temple today at 3:00 so HOLLA!! I’m like WAAAY stoked!!!
Irmao Gray shared this scripture with me and Sister Belluomini when we really needed it! I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH!!!
D&C 123:17 - Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed.
Okay now my testimony:
