Hello Everyone!
I hope you all had a great week! This week was super great for us!
We got to knock on a lot of doors this week but also the members here are starting to give us a ton of referrals! It’s like Christmas when a member gives us a referral!
Also this week we were working a ton with an investigator, Valter. 3 years ago he suffered a really bad car accident and since then he developed a panic syndrome and he never leaves his house in fear of something hurting him. We visited him this week and he wanted to be baptized. We talked to him about going to church. He told us that he couldn’t go because of the problem he has. We talked a lot about the atonement and the power of faith in Jesus Christ. He continued saying that he can’t leave his house. The next day we passed by it was Saturday. We asked him if he would come to church with us on Sunday and he said that he would! So Sunday we went to his house and his mom said that he was awake and ready to go since 7:00 a.m.! He walked with us to church and sat through the three hours of meetings! Truly a miracle! It was the first time in three years that he left his house and went somewhere for so long!
It’s truly amazing the atonement of Jesus Christo! He gives us the strength and power to do the impossible! We just need to exercise our faith in Jesus Christo and He is able to perform miracles in our lives! I love Jesus Christ, I know that he is our savior, I know that he loves me and every one of us! I’m so grateful for the sacrifice he gave us and for this amazing plan of salvation that our Pai Celestial created for each of us. I know that if we trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and keep the commandments, we can all live together with our Heavenly Father and our families forever!
I love the gospel. I love my Salvador. I love being a missionary. I love my family!
Scripture of the week:
Alma 28:12 – ‘While many thousands of others truly mourn for the loss of their kindred, yet they rejoice and exult in the hope, and even know, according to the promises of the Lord, that they are raised to dwell at the right hand of God, in a state of never-ending happiness.’
