Ola Familia! Como voces estao? Como foi sua semana e muito esiranho que eu so tenho mais p-days na missao! Tu e doido!
But yeah anyways, this week was great! We had our conselho with the president and a few other missionaries. It really motivated us to work ate o po this week! We LITERALLY talked to everyone who passed us! It was awesome! We were able to teach an absurd number of lessons and help so many feel the love that our Heavenly Father has for them!
This week was also super special because Valter chose to be baptized! J It was amazing, his baptism! If you don’t remember, Valter is an investigator that we’ve been working with for a few weeks now, who suffered an accident 3 years ago that left him with panic syndrome. He hadn’t left his house in three years, but he’s been going to church with us! He hasn’t been able to shave in 3 years, but this week we visited him and hardly recognized him because he was beardless and finally Sunday he entered into the waters of baptism with so much faith in the Savior Jesus Christo, him being living proof of the power of the atonement of Jesus Christ.

I know that Christ suffered for all of us… ‘Ele tomou sobre se as suas enfermidades, para que se ilhe encham de misencordia as entranhas, segundo a carne, para que saiba, segunda a carne, como socorrer seu poro de acordo com suas enfermidades’ – Alma 7:12
Translation:
Alma 7:12 - And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.
He did all that to be able to help us in the best way possible. Christ knows how Valter was feeling and the difficulties that he was having and was able to help him overcome those challenges. Christ knows how it feels to be a missionary teaching people every day, he knows how it feels to have everyone reject you, but that’s how he gives us the strength and energy to continue even when it seem too hard. Christ knows how it feels to loose someone you love and that’s how he can give us comfort and help us pass through the heartache and continue on. Christ can and will help us through everything, we just have to let him!
I’m so grateful to have a pai celestial that loves me so much that he sent his son to earth to help us pass through our trials and open the path that leads to eternal life! I love my savior! Eu sei que vive meu senhor.
Scripture of the week:
Translation:
Mosiah 14:3-5 - He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed
