Helloooooo!!!

No I’m not dead everyone but it’s been way crazy here, and haven’t had a lot of time to write!!

So these last few weeks have been crazy crazy!! WORK WORK WORK WORK WORK!!! Seriously I think I taught and walked and invited and everything more these last few weeks than ever before!!! Super great!! Man I LOVEEEEE Sister Aleman!!! Con certeza um de minhas companheiras preferidas!!! <3333 but yeah it’s been crazy town here in Coroado! Bringing everyone to church inviting everyone to be baptized and gathering marriage paperwork!! The work is speeding up here!!

....but... just when everything was going great, perfect companion, perfect area, members that help us, with success right around the corner......

TRANSFERS!!!! Das trevas!!!

So yeah.... I got transferred.... after crying over the fact that I would not be companions with Sister Aleman, and that I would be leaving Coroado... I packed my suitcase and met my new companion, SISTER FREITAS! She’s from Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. She’s super great! She almost has 1 year here in Manaus!

My new area is Campos Elisios, close to the temple. So yeah I’m excited for this new opportunity but I’m a little bummed to be leaving Coroado... but two fun facts for you guys.... I’m sure this will be my last area (only 12 weeks more) and the other: ALL of my areas from the start of my mission until now have started with the letter C!!! Ha-ha super crazy!!! But yeah I’m super excited for these next 12 weeks!! To work até o pó!!!!!

11 Porque é necessário que haja uma oposição em todas as coisas. Se assim não fosse, meu primogênito no deserto, não haveria retidão nem iniquidade, nem santidade nem miséria, nem bem nem mal. Portanto, é preciso que todas as coisas sejam compostas em uma; pois se fossem um só corpo, deveriam permanecer como mortas, não tendo vida nem morte, nem corrupção nem incorrupção, nem felicidade nem miséria, nem sensibilidade nem insensibilidade.

12 Portanto, teriam sido criadas em vão; portanto, não haveria propósito na sua criação. Portanto, isso destruiria a sabedoria de Deus e seus eternos propósitos, assim como o poder e a misericórdia e a justiça de Deus.

13 E se disserdes que não há lei, direis também que não há pecado. E se disserdes que não há pecado, direis também que não há retidão. E não havendo retidão, não há felicidade. E não havendo retidão nem felicidade, não haverá castigo nem miséria. E se estas coisas não existem, não existe Deus. E se não existe Deus, nós também não existimos nem a Terra; pois não poderia ter havido criação nem para agir nem para receber a ação; portanto, todas as coisas inevitavelmente teriam desaparecido.

Translation:

2 Nephi 2:11, 12 & 13

11 For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, my firstborn in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither sense nor insensibility.

12 Wherefore, it must needs have been created for a thing of naught; wherefore there would have been no purpose in the end of its creation. Wherefore, this thing must needs destroy the wisdom of God and his eternal purposes, and also the power, and the mercy, and the justice of God.

13 And if ye shall say there is no law, ye shall also say there is no sin. If ye shall say there is no sin, ye shall also say there is no righteousness.
