THE LAST EMAIL!!!!

This week was amazing!!

We were able to help two more people enter into the waters of baptism!! It was a truly amazing day!!

Well this is my last email... and I just want to say how grateful I am to my Heavenly Father for this mission that he called me to serve! I’m so grateful to him for the people that he prepared and then put in my path to be able to help! I’m so grateful for the miracles that I was able to see and for the lives that I was able to see God change! I’ve loved every single minute of my time here in Manaus! I’ve loved the rain and the sun and the laughs and the tears and the sweat!

This experience is one that I will never ever forget! I know that this is the MOST IMPORTANT work that exists here on earth! I know that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ, I know that this is the only path that leads to eternal life! I love being a missionary to be able to tell people this! To tell people that the truth is here! ‘...I do not boast in my own strength, nor in my own wisdom; but behold, my joy is full, yea, my heart is brim with joy, and I will rejoice in my God.

Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever.’

(Alma 26:11-12)

I look back and see everything that’s happened to me in these last 18 months and I know that none of it would be possible without the help of my Heavenly Father... I’m here just as an instrument in his hands to help him with his plan to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

‘Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel.’ (Alma 26:16)

My heart is full! I’m excited to be coming home but sad to be leaving this amazing place with this amazing calling and responsibility. I will never be the same!

I’d like to thank you all for your love and support over these last 18 months. Thank you thank you thank you! You’ll never know the help that your kind words, letters, and emails gave me!

I know that the church is true! I love my savior, he is everything to me! I’m so grateful for this opportunity to be able to get to know him better! I know that families can be together forever! I know that God is our Father and that he hears and answers every single one of our prayers.
