OI OI OI OI!!!!!

TUDO BEM!!!

Another fantastic week at the amazing Brazil CTM completed!!!!

Good news!! We got some roommates this week! Both from BRAZIL!!! And they only speak Portuguese!!! We thought we were good at Portuguese until they came... Ha-ha every time we try to talk to them they don’t understand... that’s okay though, they’re helping us a lot and we speak it so much more now! They’re seriously the sweetest sisters... and I can never remember their names but I love them so much!!!

I’m actually a real missionary... like for reals!!!! This week we got to go proselyting! Yeah, ummm what?? Our teacher took us out to the bus stop and we took the bus 30 min into the city and got to proselyte in the very center of Sao Paulo!!! CRAZY RIGHT?! Everyone in my district got 2 LOM (Book of Mormon) to give away! So that’s 6 between me and my companions! AND WE GAVE THEM ALL AWAY!! To people who actually speak Portuguese! Like real missionaries! Seriously the coolest experience! We walked up to a lot of people who turned us away immediately but a lot of people were really receptive and accepted our book! It was amazing! This one lady though we were telling her this book was for her and she could keep it but she kept saying something that we didn’t understand so we kept telling her it was for her and she finally took it... Ha-ha later we asked our teacher to translate the phrase she kept saying and he was laughing because it meant like no thanks, but we forced it upon her... oops! But overall it was the best part about the CTM so far! I CANT WAIT TO GET TO MANAUS!!

Okay so we are really progressing with our investigators! One, Dimas, seriously wouldn’t do anything we were asking him to so we just had a lesson where we shared our experiences with prayer and reading the scriptures and told him to read and pray and he said he would. The spirit was so strong and it was really a breakthrough with him! Our one teacher, who plays Dimas, does a really great job, our other teacher sometimes goes out of character... ha-ha like this week we had a lesson and someone said something funny... and all of us including Irmao Pazini just laughed for literally 5 minuets! HAHA, it was so funny and was great to have a good laugh! Irmao Pazini has really taught me a lot. In class we will just read the LOM (Book of Mormon) together and he will teach us out of it and it’s really amazing! He can really bring the spirit and help us learn SOO much!

The food is good here! On Mondays and Fridays for breakfast we get cereal!!! Chocolate frosted flakes! SOOO GOOOD! Other days we get bread and ham cheese and hot chocolate and this like mush stuff... it’s pretty good... but we get really excited when there’s cereal!

For lunch we always have a big meal! We get two kinds of meat or like pasta and then vegetables and rice and beans! SO MANY RICE AND BEANS! But it’s super good! The meat is really out there... and we just don’t ask what it is. Someone asked one time and it was cow tongue... it’s not bad but now that I know what it is, it’s weird... Dinner is usually very similar to lunch! And they have pretty good desserts most of the time... like this dried flan stuff! SO GOOD!! Also on Wednesdays we get Brazilian pizza so that’s always fun!

I love everything about this place! I LOVE my companions and my district! I’m SO HAPPY here on my mission! THE SPIRIT MAKES EVERYONE HAPPY! seriously at the end of the day well go to our room and I’ll just think wow this was the best day ever and then I think about what I did... and it was nothing different of special... just classes... but seriously I’ve never been happier in my life! It’s because the spirit is so strong here and as missionaries we have the spirit with us all the time and so we’re happy! Going to classes and learning a tough language all day isn’t fun, but I’m having so much fun! This church, this gospel makes us happy!! Everything about this gospel and about the message I’m sharing with people is happy! I am so HAPPY to be here and I’m sooo excited to share this happiness and this joy that I have felt my entire life with people who have never heard about this church before! Eu seu um missionaria de a irgresia de JESUS CRISTO dos Santos dos ultimos dias!!! And I love it so so much!!

One more p-day until MANAUS!!! Love you all sooooooo much!
