Okay wow! Another great week here in MANAUS!!!! Wednesday we got to go to the temple! And holy moly that was the best thing ever! Definitely the most beautiful interior of a temple that I’ve ever seen! It was set up a lot like Newport Beach temple and reminded me a lot of home! It was nice! Oh, also Sister Belloumini’s district went too! And it was her birthday! It was great to see her and hear some English!! Ha-ha!

We also got to go get my Brazilian I.D. card and get finger printed with the secretaries, so we did that and as we were leaving the assistant’s office, the assistant ran in and told us a huge storm was coming so we ran outside and the sky was black!

We started going to the bus station to get back home and it just started POURING rain like crazy! Unlike anything I’ve ever seen! Seriously in 10 min everything was flooded and I was wet head to toe... it was fun! But seriously lighting, thunder and raindrops the size of golf balls! Ha-ha I don’t know if they were that big... but big. It’s been raining all week but we’re pretty used to it by now!

Okay, so this week we were going to teach a referral but ended up going to the wrong house, but that was good because we met this little family, taught a lesson, and they’re super stoked to learn more! So that’s awesome can’t wait to go back and teach them some more! We also knocked (clapped) on this door and shared a message and turns out their daughter is a member and their grandson served a mission! So they’re so nice to us, and they love us and feed us yummy treats! Ha-ha! I know none of this just happened coincidentally! There are no coincidences in the gospel! I know that to be 100% true!
So kind of a bummer our two investigators who had a baptismal date, Andrea and Elaina, were out of town until Sunday night so they couldn’t go to church and the mission rule is 2 sacraments then baptism, so we had to push their date to January 4th. They were a little bummed but they’re going to come the next two weeks because they really want to be baptized!
So yeah, super-duper awesome week!
