Crazy to think I’ll be starting my second transfer this week!! I feel like I just got here! Time flies when you’re doing the Lords work! Ha-ha! Anyway, I’ll be staying here in Cidade Nova with Sister Salgado for the next 6 weeks!!

So little update on things, our investigator couple who were progressing a lot are moving this week... so that’s a huge bummer... they know that the Book of Mormon is true and want to be baptized they just have to get married, so we´re passing their names over and the other missionaries will pick them up! They’re a really special family I love them!

Our other investigator Rimir is progressing a lot! He’s having a tough time recognizing answers to his prayers so were helping him learn how to recognize the spirit more in his life! He’s awesome! He was a referral from a member who was eating lunch at his restaurant and just started talking about the gospel and now were teaching him and he has a baptismal date! How great!

We don’t know who will accept the gospel and who the lord has prepared, so our job is just in invite everyone!! And members are so important! Share the gospel with everyone! Help the missionaries out! We are all missionaries together!! Share the gospel with everyone! Seriously what do you have to loose! NOTHING! Help the missionaries give referrals and then go out and teach with the missionaries! Members help so much in this process! For the investigator to see a real person not a missionary who lives and loves this gospel it’s easier for them to understand, and a testimony from a member is so so important and brings such a special spirit! So help the missionaries in your ward out!!

Okay another investigator we have Fabrícia! She’s great!! She is so excited for her baptism this Sunday! So were getting everything prepped for that! She keeps telling us how excited she is to be putting the things of the world aside and coming unto Christ! She’s really awesome! We love her!

We spent some time this week also contacting some less active members! I love talking with them, and helping them remember the spirit and the feelings they felt when they decided to be baptized, and helping them remember how important it is to go to church and partake of the sacrament every week. Members are also so important with the less active, the more you befriend them and love them the more welcome they’ll feel! So be nice to everyone!

This week was a good one! This work is hard but it’s so important! I’m so grateful that my Heavenly Father trusts me with his children here in Cidade Nova. I know that I’m here to help these people, I know that this church is true and that the book of Mormon is true! Seriously amazes me how every time I open up the Book of Mormon I receive answers and comfort to my problems and difficulties! It’s amazing I love that book so so so much!!

Scripture of the week!

Doctrine and Covenants 58:27 & 29

27 Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness;

29 But he that doeth not anything until he is commanded, and receiveth a commandment with doubtful heart, and keepeth it with slothfulness, the same is damned.
