Feliz Pasqua!

WOOOHOO!!! What a wonderful week this week was!! Easter AND General Conference and splits!?!? WhaaaaT??? Also this is the last week of the transfer!!! What?!!? 7 weeks just flew by!!!

Okay well to start out, this week we had splits with the sister training leaders!!! Wow it was really great!! I was with Sister Marino who is going home next week!! Holy moly she literally is the perfect teacher!! She taught me sooo sooo much!!! Especially how to follow the spirit!! The spirit is soooooo important to missionary work!! It’s the only way we are able to teach and for people to understand and accept!! But yeah we had an AMAZING experience with an inactive family. I’ve never felt anything like it. It’s my goal to always teach with this kind of spirit. With this kind of power. It’s amazing! I want to feel this way all the time!!

Also we were contacting in the street and we met this AMAZING family!!! Who invited us in and talked with us! Turns out they have a niece who is a member and she always is sharing things with them!! Their aunt died a few months ago and the powerful message of the plan of salvation really gave them a lot of comfort!! I’m really excited to continue teaching this family!!!

We’re also helping this young man prepare to be baptized!! He goes to seminary every day and he just loves the church! He’s a super great kid!!

Anyways..... GENERAL CONFERENCE WAS THE BEST!!!! I watched three sessions in English and 1 in Portuguese! Ha-ha it was funny, it was just me and two other elders in the English room and people would pass by and look at us like animals in a zoo! Ha-ha-ha it was great!!

Ha-ha but yeah conference was like especially good this time!! I mean it’s always good but man!! I learned SOOOOOO much!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVED how much they talked about the importance of families, and marriage!!! As well as the temple!!! How exciting 3 new temples!! Ahhhhhh!!! So yeah my two favorite talks were both Sunday morning!!

The one by Brent H. Neilson, about leaving the 99 and going after the one, he shared the story of his sister Susan and instructed us to watch, pray, wait and always continue to love them!!! Never lose hope! There is always time for them to return. Man I don’t know but that was a really really powerful talk!!!

The other I loved was President Uchtdorf, about grace - "But the grace of God does not merely restore us to our previous innocent state. If salvation means only erasing our mistakes and sins, then salvation—as wonderful as it is—does not fulfill the Father’s aspirations for us. His aim is much higher: He wants His sons and daughters to become like Him. …" Nossa!! Esta discourso foi BOM DEMAIS!! Seriously he gave insights on things I’d never even thought about!!!

I feel like I learned a million things from conference!! Seriously!!! If you didn’t have the chance to watch conference or one of the sessions, I invite you to go watch them right now! I KNOW you will feel the spirit and I KNOW we can all learn something from each of the talks!!!

I know that Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet of God!! I know that he was called specifically for our day in our time to guide us with the things that are happening now!! I know that when we follow his council and the council of the 12 apostles and other leaders of the church we can have a much happier life and we will be greatly blessed!!! I’m so grateful for this conference and for everything I learned!!! I can’t wait in 6 months to get to hear more from our amazing prophets!!! :)

Happy Easter to everyone!!! I’m so grateful for my Savior and all that he did for me!! But especially that He lives, that He was resurrected, that He loves me! And that because of Him, life doesn’t end at death!! We will all live again! We will all be resurrected!! We will all one day have prefect and glorified bodies, we all will have the chance to live with our families and our Heavenly Father forever!!!
