WOOT WOOT!!!!
This week was super awesome!! For a first week opening a new area we did pretty well!!! We taught A TON of lessons and are comfortable making our way around our area now!!! We met a ton of menos activos this week!! They were all excited to have sisters back in the ward and a ton came to church Sunday!!!
We also started teaching a few sisters, one has cancer and is super excited to come to church this Sunday!!! She loves reading the Book of Mormon!! She’s awesome!!!
We also came in contact with the mom of a new member and a less active!! We set a baptism date with one and we are setting goals with the other to help her stop smoking and getting the paperwork together for her to get married!! It’s very exciting!!!
The members here are AMAZING!!! They’re all so willing to help us find our way to meals with the members, to find the church and to show us where everyone lives!! We have a TON of lessons with members here!! The ward is super excited to have sisters again!! Ha-ha it’s great!!
Our district is great!! Our zone leader is super helpful!! And we should be moving apartments by the end of this week!! So that’s super awesome!! I miss my old district and zone a ton.... but I’m excited to be here now and learn new things from them!!!
So yeah super awesome week!! It just goes to show you that the Lord is there helping us in every moment!! There’s no way we could have done this without the help of the Lord!! I’m so excited to be here in this area!! I hope I stay here for a while!!
Scripture of the week!!
Hebrews 6:12&15 - Para que vos não façais negligentes, mas sejais imitadores dos que pela fé e paciência herdam as promessas.
e assim esperando com paciência alcançou a promessa.
Translation:
12) That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
15) And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
