Happy May 4th!

Wooo Hooo Happy May 4 Everyone!!!

This week was super awesome!!! I mean not a ton happened, but it was a great week!! We taught A TON this week!!! It always feels good when you’re working hard!! You start out the day with energy and you end the day with energy! Like every time we teach a lesson we just get super pumped and want to teach more people and talk to everyone in the street!!! It’s like the gospel and keeping the commandments! When we keep the commandments, we are given the strength to continue faithful, but when we don’t keep the commandments we get lazy and it’s super hard to come back! That’s why it’s so important that we are always doing what’s right, because it’s super hard to come back once we’ve decided it’s not that important to be obedient!

Quarta-feira we had splits with the Sister Training Leaders!! I was with Sister Alcolforado! I love splits because we have the chance to learn so much from another missionary! We get to teach together and see a new point of view! I learned a lot of new things that I will use when I’m teaching!! I love splits!! :)

This week we visited again a bunch of less actives!! We visited the husband of the Relief Society President! He has been inactive for 10 years now! We held a Family Night there and the spirit was so strong but also we had a ton of fun!!! I ate A TON of fish! And we just all had a great time!! Then on Sunday he came to church for the first time in almost 10 years!!! The members here are saying that we are doing the impossible! But it’s not us, it’s the spirit!! If the missionaries are doing what were supposed to be doing we will have the spirit when we teach, and then we will see the miracles happen!!

This ward that I’m in is amazing!! I seriously never want to leave!! The Bishop is an angel and all the members are so willing to help! I seriously would be happy here for the rest of my mission!! Ha-ha!!!

Sunday we had a ton of investigators at church!! We’re helping them work towards baptism!! We’re super excited for these people and the members are super excited also!!

Missionary work is exciting!! If you start you’ll never want to stop!! Share the gospel with your friends and help the missionaries!!! I know that this church is the church of Jesus Christ restored to the earth!! I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God to restore the church of Christ!! I know that we can do anything and everything with the help of the Lord!!! I love being a missionary!!

Shout out to people confusing me for my comp on the telephone (that means my Portuguese is getting better!!)

Shout out to the cat of a recently baptized family that is making me start to like cats....

Shout out to the açai guy dancing with all his heart to his music on the side of the road!

Shout out to 6 months down one year to go! WHAT THE HECK!!
