Hellooooo everyone!!! I hope everyone had a very happy Mother’s Day!! I KNOW I DID :) Man I have the best mom ever!!!!
SO yeah this week was great for so many reasons!!! We taught a ton this week!! It always feels good when you teach a lot of people, walk a lot, and are just so exhausted when you return to the house knowing that you did all you could that day to help people and fulfill your purpose! It just makes you feel so good!!
We're helping another less active family come back to church! They’re soo excited! It’s a huge family with aunts and uncles and grandparents!! And they have a ton of kids who haven’t been baptized yet! So were helping them all get excited and prepared to be baptized!!
Also this week we had 2 BATISMOS!!! Woohoo!!! Saturday was the baptism of Endrew! He is part of a family that we reactivated! It was soooo amazing to see them all there and so excited for his baptism! And for them to be feeling the same spirit they felt at their baptisms and helping them remember why they joined the church and strengthen their testimonies!! They’re a really special family I love them so much! And I am so happy to see them getting strong in the church again!! The next day Endrew received the Holy Ghost in sacrament meeting! It was just so happy!!

Sunday after church was the baptism of Linedie! Her son got baptized a while back and is married to a member. We started teaching her and she decided to be baptized!! She was so excited to be baptized and now all she can talk about is when her granddaughter turns 8 she'll get baptized too!! :) So cute!! At her baptismal service, her son receive the priesthood! It was really awesome to see a family coming together through the church! It was a very special exciting and happy day!

Baptism is so so important!! It’s the door we have to enter to gain eternal life!! We must follow the example of Christ and be baptized by someone who has the authority from God!! I’m so grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where we have the power and authority of God to perform these saving ordinances that will help us make it back to the presence of our Heavenly Father!!
TRANSLATION: I am very grateful for the help of the Lord for his missionaries! For the spirit touching the hearts of many people and helping them gain a testimony of the restored gospel. I am very grateful for this opportunity to be an instrument in God's hands! I'm very happy to be a missionary and to serve Him every day and to help all of his children!
Scripture of the week!
TRANSLATION:
‘And it came to traveling many days in the wilderness; and fasted and prayed much that the Lord would grant unto them a portion of his Spirit to go and stay with them in order to be an instrument in God's hands, so, if possible, their brethren, the Lamanites, to know the indeed, the knowledge of the baseness of the traditions of their fathers, which were not correct.’
