Wooo hoo! I hope everyone had a very happy 4th of July for me!!!!

This week went by super-duper fast!! We visited a ton of people, and most importantly we contacted a ton of new investigators!!!

We also had interviews with the president this week!! Before we got interviewed he gave a training. He talked about the power and authority that we have as missionaries to teach, to find those who are ready to receive, to bless people and to promise specific blessings!! It was super cool to be reminded of all these things. He helped me remember that I was called of God to be a missionary specifically here in Manaus and that the Lord needs me here in Cachuerinha to help his children. He helped me remember the power in the setting apart that I received from my stake president. It was the perfect thing that I needed to be reminded of! I’m so grateful for Presidente and Sister Castro! I know they were called of God to lead this mission and I know that there are so many things that I need to learn specifically through them!

So yeah, I learned a ton this week! It’s sorta crazy I’m approaching my half-way mark and I’m thinking about everything that I’ve learned and thinking about how much more I have to learn! A mission is a time to learn and grow and serve and love! I seriously never want my mission to end!!

Scripture of the week!

TRANSLATION:

But I do not joy in my own success alone, but my joy is more full because of the success of my brethren, who have been up to the land of Nephi. Behold, they have labored exceedingly, and have brought forth much fruit; and how great shall be their reward!

Shout outs!!

Shout out to the three people I saw in the street on the 4th of July with American flag t-shirts! I think it was only a coincidence :(

Shout out to my comp who didn’t think it was too weird when I sang the national anthem 3 times while walking in the street on the 4th of July!

Shout out to visiting The Center here in Manaus! It’s like a smaller less expensive New York!

Shout out to Sister Miller hitting her 4 month mark! Woo!!

That’s all for today!! Until next week!! <33
