THIS WEEK WAS SO HOT!!! And the people here say that this is just the start of summer!

Hahaha!! Don’t worry mom I’m using lots of sunscreen!!

SO yeah this week was super great!! Sister Miller and I are working on following the spirit more in everything we do! To know where we need to go, what to say and who to talk to! We met some new investigators this week by doing this! We prayed to find those who are ready and we came across these people who are all interested in the message we have to share!! A few even accepted to be baptized when they receive an answer that these things are true!!

We’ve been working a ton with this girl whose dad is a less active member. We’ve been teaching her a ton and are reading the Book of Mormon with her! She comes to church but her dad just drops her off, she wants to be baptized but her dad isn’t sure. We talked to her dad a ton this week and taught him and helped him remember the things that he knew. And Sunday when we were walking up to church we saw him and his daughter getting out of the car! Him in his white shirt and tie! Seriously I can’t tell you how happy I was!! Like I could hear music and the angels singing! Hahaha I don’t know I was just sooo happy! And he went into the church and he saw all his old friends and everyone remembered him and hugged him and welcomed him back!! Ahh it was perfect!!

We teach and help and serve a lot of people every week! Sometimes it’s tough to have investigators who don’t want to progress, or read the Book of Mormon, or pray, or get married, to go to church but I learned this week that everyone has their agency! My responsibility is to teach clearly and powerfully by the spirit to help them make the correct choice! But even when we do everything we can, sometimes it doesn’t go the way we want, but we can’t get discouraged!! We have to do our part and then we can feel peace with whatever the outcome is!!

In ‘Preach My Gospel’ it says we can be certain that the Lord is pleased when you feel the spirit working through you! I love this!! I’m doing my best to always have the spirit with me! It’s not always easy but it’s always worth it!! And when I can feel the spirit I know that the Lord is pleased with my work!! :)

‘And the Spirit shall be given unto you by the prayer of faith; and if ye receive not the Spirit ye shall not teach.’
