What a great thing it is to be a missionary!!

This week was wonderful! We worked hard and had a ton of help from the members of our ward!! We got passed a ton of referrals!! It was awesome!!! We contacted a ton and it was so great! It’s awesome to have a name and address of someone when they know someone who is a member of the church!! They are so much more receptive!!

Also this week was our wards festa julinha!! It was super fun!! It’s like a ward hoedown that they have every year!!! A ton of our investigators came and the members invited a ton of friends that we marked visits with this week!! Also to top off the week a ton of members brought friends to church with them!! Super great!! Even more referrals!!! Seriously missionary work is nothing without the members!!! We all need to work together to strengthen and help the ward grow!!

This week we had a super cool experience in finding families! We left our house with a prayer asking Heavenly Father to guide us to a family that is ready to hear the gospel! We walked and LITERALLY talked to everyone who passed us... and everyone was from another area! Everyone!!! We took their addresses and passed them to the missionaries in the other areas... but this happened like 8 times! We kept walking and talking to everyone.... then we arrived at a road we had never seen before... we walked down and saw a man sitting, we talked to him and it turns out he is happily married with 2 daughters! We taught him about the plan of salvation and he marked with us a time we can come back and teach his whole family!!! It’s amazing how the Lord blesses and answers our prayers!! Sometime it won’t be exactly when we want it... but if we show our faith and continue persevering we will see the blessings!!!

It’s crazy these experiences, people, the stories, everything about the mission! You can’t and won’t learn these things anywhere else but on a mission!! SERVE A MISSION!! HELP THE MISSIONARIES!!!

Èter 12;6 - E agora eu, Morôni, quisera falar algo a respeito dessas coisas. Quisera mostrar ao mundo que fé são coisas que seesperam, mas não se vêem; portanto, não disputeis porque não vedes, porque não recebeis testemunho senão depois daprova de vossa fé.

Translation:

Ether 12:6 - And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith.
