EU SEI QUE O LIVRO DE MORMON É VERDADEIRO!!

Hello everyone!! Thanks for all the nice emails this week!!! They all made me so happy!!

This week as always was super great!!! We worked hard all week and it all paid off in the end!!! We worked with a ton of less active families this week and with the new families that we contacted last week!! And when Sunday came, almost all of them came to church!! The number of people in sacrament meeting was a lot higher than it’s been in a long time!! Even the members were surprised!! And 2 of our investigator families came!! Which is a miracle because it’s so hard for the people here to get up early to come to church!! But they came and loved it!!

Also Sunday was Ana Clara’s baptism!!!! She’s the daughter of the less active family! All of her family came to the baptism including her less active uncle and grandma who is returning to church!! :) It was a super happy day for everyone!! The baptism was wonderful! The room was packed with our amazing members and it was just a super happy day!!

Also Sunday night I finished reading the book of Mormon! Woohoo!! It was great to read it again! I learn something new every time I read it!! This time the things that stood out to me where how much it talks about obedience, humility, and charity!! We need to be obedient to the commandments of God and he will bless us! It’s so simple!! We need to be humble with the blessings we receive and ALWAYS remember the Lord in everything! And we must have charity! We need to develop this love for other people like Christ has for us!! We must have charity to enter into the kingdom of God! This is something I’m really searching to have! I’m doing all I can every day to develop the pure love of Christ for everyone around me!!!

I love the book of Mormon and it’s amazing the promise that it has!!! To read ponder and pray!!! And when we ask our Father in Heaven if these things are true he will give us an answer every time!! It’s not just a one-time thing! We can ask Him every day and he will give us an answer every time that it’s true!! Eu sei que o livro de Mormon e verdadeiro!!

Moroni 10:4 - E quando receberdes estas coisas, eu vos exorto a perguntardes a Deus, o Pai Eterno, em nome de Cristo, se estas coisas não são verdadeiras; e se perguntardes com um coração sincero e com real intenção, tendo fé em Cristo, ele vos manifestará a verdade delas pelo poder do Espírito Santo.

Translation:

Moroni 10:4 - And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
