MUCHO CRAZY!!

This week was wonderful!!!

We were running around town all this week getting all the paperwork ready for the wedding that will be in the coming weeks!! We’re soooo excited for that!! Also this week was full of a ton of new investigators with a ton of potential for baptism!

Also I’m forgetting how to write and spell in English... it’s hard!!

I think Sister Meono is good luck because everything is going perfectly with her!! We really had some great experiences teaching with poder e atoridade this week!! Sometimes when we teach a lesson and the person doesn’t listen or goes off talking about something else or laughs, but something amazing that we have as missionaries is the power and authority from our Heavenly Father to teach and testify of the truth!! This week we had two experiences with this!

One was with this older lady, she barely let us get 2 words in. She was going on and on about how confusing it is that there are so many churches here on earth and was wondering how we could know which is true but she never let us respond! Then Sister Meono spoke up and told her why we were here that we have the truth that we are representatives of Jesus Christo and that we were here to show her the verdade and help her not be confused any more, the lady stopped talking and we taught her about the first vision she paid attention and the spirit was so so strong! We testified that these things are true and that this is the church of Jesus Christo on the earth today! Foi muito legal and espiritual!! Super amazing experience!!

Also the other was with this young man who had a ton of questions and doubts and had heard a ton of stuff about the church and he was trying to confuse us and make us say something wrong. But we were able to answer all his questions. We taught about the first vision and the Book of Mormon, the spirit was there testifying to him that these things really are true!! We invited him to read and then pray about the Book of Mormon and he said he would but that he already knew and felt that it was true!! Like wow!! It was amazing!!

When we are worthy to have the spirit with us we will be able to teach with power and authority and the people will recognize us as representatives of Jesus Christo and listen to us! I’m so grateful for this calling!! To be a missionary! To be a representative of Jesus Christo!! This church is true I have no doubt!! I love this church I love the spirit!! I love being a missionary!!!

Scripture of the week!!

1 Nefi 17:41-- the little commandments are important too!! Just because it seems like a little rule or commandment doesn’t mean it’s not important!! It could be what lets us enter into the celestial kingdom!!!

E afligiu-os no deserto com sua vara, porqueendureceram o coração do mesmo modo que vós; e o Senhor afligiu-os por causa de sua iniqüidade. Enviou-lhesserpentes voadoras ardentes e, depois de mordidos, preparou um meio para que fossem curados; e o que tinham a fazer era olhar; e por causa da simplicidade do método, ou seja, da facilidade dele, houve muitos que pereceram.

Translation:

1 Nephi 17:41 - And he did straiten them in the wilderness with his rod; for they hardened their hearts, even as ye have; and the Lord straitened them because of their iniquity. He sent fiery flying serpents among them; and after they were bitten he prepared a way that they might be healed; and the labor which they had to perform was to look; and because of the simpleness of the way, or the easiness of it, there were many who perished.

Shout out to the man that asked if I was married to Sister Meono...... uhhhh NO!! We got a chance to explain to him about the church and missions.... Ha-ha

Shout out to the kid in my ward that thought that I had 40 years!! Ha-ha!!

Shout out to Sister Meono!! The best companion in the world I love her and are planning our visits to each other after our missions!! <3333

I love you all!!! I know it’s hot there but trust me it’s hotter here!!! Hahaha!!! #dying … but I love it!!
