Wooo hooo!!!! Uma semana cheia de divisões! Super divertido!!

So on Tuesday we got on the big charter bus for 5 hours traveling through the jungle mesmo to get to Iticoatiara!!

A teeny tiny little town in the middle of nowhere!!! We got there and slept! The next day we got up we got to give the zone training with the ZL´s of Iticoatiara! (Elder Maltezo my old LZ) that went super well!! Then we split off! The first day I left with Sister Bernardo from São Paulo and Sister Santos went with Sister Peireira!! We went out and talked to everyone set baptism dates with everyone!!! Iticoatiara seriously is an amazing place full of people ready to receive the gospel!!! There are thousands to be baptized there!!! The next day we split with the other dupla of sisters that are there, I went with Sister Cabañas from Paraguay!

She’s super amazing too!! I got to help teach this young man who will be baptized this week!! Seriously I’ve never met anyone so ready to receive the gospel than him!!! We were able to help teach and learn from one other during this week!! It was amazing to see the gospel change the lives of the people in Iticoatiara!

I was a little worried about leaving our area for a few days without working in it but the Lord really blessed us and helped us find some really amazing new families and he helped us have lots of investigators at church Sunday! Now it’s just preparing them to have faith, repent and then be baptized!!! I love this work so much! I love seeing the miracles and the help that our Heavenly Father gives to us when we fulfil our responsibilities and our callings!! When we do our part to help others and fulfil our role the Lord really blesses us with what we need!! So maybe it’s tough for you to go do your home teaching, but I know that if you do you will have time to get everything else you need to get done, done! The Lord has a whole bunch of blessings waiting for you that he will give to you as soon as you start fulfilling your responsibilities and magnifying your calling!!!

15 E Alma falou, estando o povo reunido em grandes grupos; e ele foi de grupo em grupo, pregando ao povo arrependimento e fé no Senhor.

16 E exortou o povo de Lími e seus irmãos, todos os que haviam sido libertados do cativeiro, a lembrarem-se de que havia sido o Senhor quem os libertara.

17 E aconteceu que depois de Alma haver ensinado muitas coisas ao povo e acabado de falar-lhes, o rei Lími desejou ser batizado; e também todo o seu povo desejou ser batizado.

18 Portanto, Alma entrou na água e batizou-os; sim,batizou-os da mesma forma que batizara seus irmãos naságuas de Mórmon; sim, e todos os que batizou passaram a pertencer à igreja de Deus; e isso por causa de sua crença nas palavras de Alma.

Translation:

Mosiah 25:15-18

15 And Alma did speak unto them, when they were assembled together in large bodies, and he went from one body to another, preaching unto the people repentance and faith on the Lord.

16 And he did exhort the people of Limhi and his brethren, all those that had been delivered out of bondage, that they should remember that it was the Lord that did deliver them.

17 And it came to pass that after Alma had taught the people many things, and had made an end of speaking to them, that king Limhi was desirous that he might be baptized; and all his people were desirous that they might be baptized also.

18 Therefore, Alma did go forth into the water and did baptize them; yea, he did baptize them after the manner he did his brethren in the waters of Mormon; yea, and as many as he did baptize did belong to the church of God; and this because of their belief on the words of Alma.
